A Robber’s Tale (WT)

Script: Moritz Binder, Berthold Wahjudi | Director: Pia Hellenthal

Feature, tba

Synopsis

West Germany, 1985. Thirty-year-old idealist Reiner impulsively robs his first bank, despite having little interest in money. His life changes radically – more heists follow. He starts living a double life in Lisbon, where you can be several things or nothing at all. A Robber’s Tale is a wild, fast-paced adventure with no moral lesson – just a man challenging the system, with some almost-serious crimes and some seriously big ideas.
